If you’re visiting Charleston, you won’t want to miss having an incredible meal at Husk! My husband and I spent a week in Charleston this February and one of our favorite experiences was a romantic dinner at Husk.

About Husk
Located in Downtown Charleston, just off of King Street, Husk serves modern Southern dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. While Husk now has 3 other locations in Nashville TN, Greenville SC, & Savannah, GA, the Charleston location was the first to open in 2010!
The restaurant is located in a charming, beautifully-restored Charleston home.

We chose to book a table on the gorgeous outdoor patio! We loved the vibe – with the string lights and surrounding greenery. The outdoor heaters made it an even cozier and inviting atmosphere since it was chilly.
The Food + Drinks
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Husk is consistently named one of Charleston’s best restaurants and I can now see why! I loved the chef’s choice vegetarian option and Mitch loved the TN Striploin.
We also had delicious cocktails! Mitch had the Husk Old Fashioned and I enjoyed the Left on Red.
Keep in mind the menu changes frequently – but you can check the website to see recent menu offerings.
Reservations
If you’re hoping to go to Husk, be sure to book a reservation in advance on OpenTable!
We went on a Tuesday in February (not peak season) and were so glad we made a reservation weeks in advance – we checked the day of and there was no availability left all evening.
