Glamping with Pitched Mpls

Minnesota

Last week, Mitch and I had our first camping experience together! Okay, it was really glamping and it was in our backyard, but it was such a cool and unique experience that was so fun and memorable!

If you haven’t heard of Pitched Mpls, a Twin Cities company founded just earlier this year in 2020, bringing a glamorous camping experience right to your backyard, well, now you have!

About Pitched Mpls

Pitched Mpls (Minneapolis) brings a cute, trendy tent experience to your backyard. They do all the setup and takedown, making this is an easy date night, girls night, birthday party, or family bonding night!

How much does Pitched Mpls cost?

$200 – $250 without taxes. There are also optional add-ons!

What’s Included

Setup and teardown of the tent is included. Pitched Mpls is much more than just a tent – they really thought about all the little special details – including rugs, throw pillows, faux candles, cute chairs, & a small space heater. The bed was also very comfortable!

A light blanket is provided but you’ll definitely want to have your own blankets, comforter, or sleeping bags to keep warm. We used 2 comforters & a blanket to stay warm throughout the night!

Add-Ons

Mitch and I opted for 2 of the add-ons (both of which were $25) and totally worth it in my opinion.

The first is the table shown above. We enjoyed an intimate, cozy candle-lit dinner complete with Punch Pizza in the evening. It was such a fun way to kickoff our date night.

*All of the rugs and adorable throw pillows to sit on were included. The candles, greenery, and fall decor were my own additions.

The second add-on we selected was the projector & screen. This add-on really made the tent feel like home, as we got to watch a movie before bed! We watched one of my favorite movies – Crazy Rich Asians.

To be honest, Mitch was a little hesitant on the idea of spending +$200 for camping in our own backyard, but not even 10 minutes into our candle-lit dinner right outside the tent he was like “okay this is really cool” 🙂

I’m sure this won’t be the last time we book with Pitched Mpls!

We had such a great night and made lasting memories! I think this would be such a fun night for not only date nights, but for families, birthday parties, etc.

If you have any questions at all about our experience please feel free to leave a comment.

Shout out to There Goes Jess for the recommendation!

When visiting Austin last February, Joanns was one of those places! It was a windy, rainy day & when we saw this inviting, tropical covered patio on South Congress (close to the I Love You So Much mural) we just had to stop!

Highly recommend if you’re ever in Austin 🤍
